LOVE

YOUR

LONDON

Over the next 12 years, from August 2020, Tristán and Sharon will take you on the deepest, most personal and detailed journey across every corner of London.

LoveYourLondon_avatar_tight_hires.gif

My name is Tristán White. I am a comedy writer with a passion for my hometown of London.

Together with my partner (and producer) Sharon, we will be visiting every corner of London. Anywhere you can get to by Oyster, at some point over the next 12 years, we'll be visiting and discovering what makes that area interesting or special.

We will be visiting museums,  finding out the best pubs, discovering the quirky history, and having a lot of fun along the way.

We'll also be interviewing the locals, so if you see us in our Love Your London T-shirts coming your way, please stop us and say "hi".

Oh, and we mean everywhere.  We have decided to split London up into 144 areas and will be visiting each one alphabetically over the next twelve years. We will be starting off with eight(!!) episodes dedicated to Acton. Some areas will require a lot fewer. We anticipate some of them to be behemoths.

SPECIALS AND ONE-OFFS

We do loads of one-offs too, that cannot wait until we reach the area alphabetically.

So far, we have produced specials about The Clash's exhibition at the Museum of London, the view from the Walkie-Talkie, the first day of the new season at Crystal Palace FC, a lark in Victoria Park, picking litter from a kayak in Limehouse Basin, and the London Cockney Museum. Later came our Beigel Bake special, a celebration of the end of lockdown, a Eurovision special, a walk through the special Huguenot home of Annetta Pedretti, a campaign to save green space in Peckham,a special about the Hermitage Community Moorings in Wapping, the Neuron Pod designed by Will Alsopp and a special about tango. Recently we have also produced a feature-length movie about Eurovision in London, and a special on two art exhibitions, one on Alice in Wonderland at the V&A, the other on Van Gogh. Also check out our visit to The War of the Worlds and the Gunpowder Plot immersive experiences, and the follow-up in which we tried to revive Penny for the Guy in Barnet. Our most recent specials are about the Romanian diaspora, mudlarking on the Thames, Human Castles, Marshall & Millions, and Spanish fans supporting Wycombe in London!

Artwork
Exclusive artwork drawn during each season will be auctioned off on eBay.

Sharon, who has Masters degrees both in Art and in Music will, in between filming, also be creating a series of one-of-a-kind pen and ink drawings based on the amazing things we see in each area.

These will then be auctioned off on eBay. Sharon loves drawing architecture and scenery. We think you will be enchanted by her unique style and the personality that comes through her drawings.

This will help pay our bills, too. London is amazing fun, but it can be very expensive. We are hoping that this will at least help cover our transportation and beer costs at the very least.

The latest artwork is of the Barking Creek Barrier, relating to our current series on Barking & Dagenham: a symbol of defiance for the resilient population of Barking. It has now been sold. Thank you to the bidder for supporting our channel
